The College of Nursing has a dedicated and understanding faculty team led by a highly qualified and experienced head.The undergraduate and postgraduate students have separate faculty to give them individual attention. The postgraduate faculty members include experts in all the specializations. This motivated team continually keeps themselves abreast with conferences and journals.

Minimum Education:

The undergraduate program provides an understanding of the health sciences with a strong foundation in the basic sciences. The syllabus is structured to teach students english, computer science, management, education, research and biostatistics. The postgraduate program gives additional skills in administrative and management areas, while allowing students to specialize in medical, surgical, community health, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, and psychiatric nursing.The Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of
    (a) Higher Secondary school certificate examination (12 years course)
    (b) Senior school certificate examination (10+2), pre-degree examination (10 +2)
    (c) An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board, or University with
    science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate
    marks (PCBE). For SC/ST candidates 40% aggregate marks.

Admission of married candidates are allowed.
